Farmers Only: Spaghetti, Hold the Meatballs

Louisville squeaked out a 3-2 victory over the Indianapolis Indians.  Tony Cingrani was tossing some spicy pasta fagioli, striking out 4 and walking one over 3 scoreless innings.  He also got a base hit for good measure.  No real standout performances on offense, but Kyle Waldrop and Irving Falu had the only multi-hit games, eaching going 2-4 on the night.  Robert Stephenson goes a' plunderin' tonight at 7:05.

Pensacola got beat up by the Mobile Bay Bears, falling 9-4.  Poor pitching all around in this one.  Daniel Wright didn't have his best stuff, giving up 5 runs (4 earned) on 7 hits and 3 walks while striking out none.  Jimmy "Get an Out" Moran and "The Epic of" Ben Klimesh both gave up a pair of runs in relief.  Nick Christiani however, was able to pitch 2 scoreless innings, striking out 2 and walking 1.  Kyle "What's a" Skipworth went 1-3 with a solo dinger.  Timothy Adelman gets the start as the Wahoos continue their series in Mobile.

Daytona defeated Dunedin by a score of 3-1.  Jackson Stephens sliced up the Blue Jays' eyeballs, throwing 6 innings of 1-run ball,while striking out 7 and walking 1.  El'Hajj Muhammad got the save, striking out 1 in a perfect 9th inning.  Chad "Walla" Wallach went 2-4 with a double.  Amir Garrett toes the rubber for the Tortugas this afternoon at 12:05.

Dayton lost 6-4 at the hands of the Bowling Green Hot Rods.  Tejay Antone got roughed up badly, giving up 5 runs on 10 hits and a walk in 5 innings, while striking out 3.  Gavin LaValley "Of the Dolls" went 1-5 and drove in 2 runs on a double.  Jimmy "Slim" Pickens went 1-3 with a walk and a stolen base.  Junior "Mint" Morillo gets the start tonight at 7:00.

Billings beat the Orem Owlz in a good o' good one, winning 5-4.  Tyler Stephenson went 3-4 with a double and an RBI.  Reydel "Funky Cold" Medina went 2-4 a double and a ribeye as well.  Brantley "Taco" Bell drove in 2 on a 2-3 night with a double and a walk.  Jacob Constante threw 5 innings of 2-run ball walking 3 and striking out the same.  "DJ" Tanner Rainey takes on the Owlz tonight at 9:15.

Arizona had the night off.  They'll get back at it tonight against the White Sox at 10:00.
