The Tigers have interest in Mike Leake (maybe)
The Detroit Tigers are banged up, trailing the Kansas City Royals, and stuck between trying to buy and trying to sell. They've been rumored to be shopping starter David Price - who's set to be a free agent after this season - but the McPaper's Bob Nightengale has heard that a few wins may actually have them looking for additions to their once-vaunted pitching staff. Enter Mike Leake, apparently. Detroit's farm system looks like much of Oklahoma did in the 1930's (especially after the Reds plucked Jonathon Crawford & Eugenio Suarez from them this Winter), but there may be something left that would make moving Leake worthwhile. RUMOR TIME!
