Louisville lost in a slugfest to Scranton in their first game back from the All-Star Break, falling 8-7 in 11 innings.  Robert Stephenson had a rough night, giving up a 2-run dinger in the 1st inning, before running into a rough 5th that saw him give up 4 runs.  All in all on the night his final line of 5 IP, 7 H, 6 ER, 2 BB, 4 K was his worst so far as a Bat.   Jermaine "Not Tito" Curtis went 2-4 with an RBI, and Kris Negron went 1-3 with a triple and an RBI as well.  Tony Spaghetti will be tossing sauce tonight at 7:05.

Pensacola lost 4-2 to the Birmingham Barons.  Kyle Skipworth went 1-3 with a 2-run dinger and a walk, which would be the 5th straight game in which Skipworth has honked one.  That would end up being all the offense the Wahoos could muster, however.  Barrett Astin kept it close, but got tagged with the loss, giving up 3 runs in 6 innings pitched with 3 strikeouts and 3 walks.  Wandy Peralta takes the hill for the 'Hoos tonight at 8:05.

Daytona was the only Reds affiliate that won on Thursday, beating the Jupiter Hammerheads 9-4.  Amir Garrett didn't have his very best stuff, tossing 6 innings of 5-hit, 3-run ball, with 5 K and 2 BB.  But it was enough to get the job done.  Junior Arias went 3-5 with a solo home run.  Taylor Sparks went 2-4 with a double, a triple and a walk.  Chad "Walla" Wallach drove in a pair of runs, going 3-4 with 2 doubles.  Jackson Stephens gets the start tonight in Jupiter.

Dayton lost in extras, falling 5-4 in 10 innings.  Jake Paulson wasn't so hot, lasting only 4 innings with 3 earned runs allowed with 3 strikeouts and a walk.  Aristides Aquino went 1-5 with an RBI double, and Argenis "The Mask of" Aldazoro went 2-4 with a double and a walk.  Wyatt Strahan saddles up for the Dragons tonight at 7:00.

Billings had their game suspended due to rain.  They'll play two tonight.

Arizona lost to the little Padres 11-8.  Jesus Reyes had a rough go of it, allowing 5 runs (4 earned) in 2.2 innings, striking out 3 and walking 2.  Miles Gordon drove in 3 from the leadoff spot, going 3-5 with a double.  Ryan Wright went 1-3 with a walk.  The AZLiens take on the Angels tonight at 10:00.
