Pro Merch and Free Swag

You may not have heard of Pro Merch yet, but they'd like to introduce themselves, and reached out to Red Reporter to do just that.  The recent startup has licensing rights to a bunch of cool Cincinnati Reds-themed stuff, and they're going to be present at various venues around Cincinnati during All-Star game weekend.  And, since I am making this introduction, Pro Merch is handing us a bunch of free items because they want us to give it away!

Pro Merch is going to have a tent set up at the All-Star game to vend their wares, and they are also having a couple of special events that week.

On Tuesday the 14th, "The Nasty Boys", Rob Dibble, Norm Charlton, and Randy Myers will be appearing at the Tin Roof from 2-4pm for an exclusive meet-and-greet and the unveiling of their brand new, official "Nasty Boys" shirt from Pro Merch. It's rare for them all to appear together, and there will be some limited autographs of the Pro Merch Nasty Boys shirt only.

On Wednesday the 15th, Cincinnati Reds legend Pete Rose hosts Rally Raising Money for his Vet Charity, Hustle for Heroes. Pro Merch and the Hustle for Heroes foundation present Pete Rose to host the event at the Tin Roof Wednesday July 15, right across from the Great American Ball Park. Pete will address the crowd, highlight local veterans, and take Qs from the crowd from 11:45-12:30. The event is open to the public. Admission is free; however, there is a suggested donation of $14 to Hustle for Heroes or purchase of charitable "Charlie Hustle T-shirt". T-shirt proceeds and and all donations go to www.hustleforheroes.org, a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to supporting our vets.

I mentioned that their stuff looks pretty cool.  And a bunch of Red Reporters are gonna get some of this stuff for free, as a giveaway for the season prediction contest (remember that?).  Besides the Nasty Boys t-shirt, other licensed gear from the Reds includes the Charlie hustle shirt for the charity function mentioned above, Johnny Bench, and Billy Hamilton.  If you like their designs and appreciate companies that give stuff away on your favorite blog, they hope you'll check them out at the All-Star game.
