Farmers Only: Mountain Time is Stupid Dumb

Louisville did a good job of depressing me early with a 5-0 loss.  Keyvius "Strong Like" Sampson had a good start (6 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 9 K).  Jose De La Torre and Nick "Sister" Christiani pitched scoreless innings, but some jerk named Collin Balester gave up 3 earned runs in the 9th.  Brennan "Splintered Ass" Boesch, Irving "Moo Moo" Falu, and Josh Satin Sheets all had multi-hit games.  Holmdiggity starts tonight at 7:05 PM EST.

Pensacola lost to Mississippi, 4-2.  Barrett "A Little Place Called" Astin allowed a lot of base runners but didn't give up a ton of runs (5.1 IP, 8 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 4 K.  Kyle McMyne pitched 2 scoreless innings.  Sean "Daddy's Boy" Buckley was 2 for 3.  The Big Deal pitches tonight at 6:35 PM CST.

Daytona rescued our sanity with a 3-2 victory over Palm Beach.  Slippy Sal Romano continues to look pretty good (6 IP, 7 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 8 K).  Evan Mitchell pitched a scoreless inning. Brian "Where's Da Beef" O'Grady had the big hit of the game.  Making his Daytona debut, he hit a 3 run wanger in the 7th inning.  The Booger Digger pitches tonight at 6:35 PM EST.

Dayton put some bats on the ball and sent the home crowd home happy with a 9-2 victory. Tyler "Darth" Mahle keeps striking everyone out and not walking batters (5 IP, 8 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 8 K). Jacob "Alaster" Moody, Jeremy "Hot Rod" Kivel, and Brennan "San" Bernardina all had scoreless appearances out of the pen. Narciso "I'm Not A" Crook was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles, 3 RBI, and a run scored.  Jonathan Reynoso was 3 for 3 with 2 runs scored, and Jimmy "Slim" Pickens was 2 for 3 and scored 3 runs.  Strong Arm Armstrong pitches tonight at 7:00 PM EST.

Billings played forever, to the 15th inning in fact, and lost, 9-8.  No one pitched particularly well, but Jimmy "Lee Swaggart" Herget did pitch 2 scoreless innings.  Reydel Medina was 4 for 7 with a double, RBI, and 2 runs scored.  Tyler Stephenson was 2 for 6 with a walk, RBI, and a run scored.  Mr. Ed Charlton had 2 doubles and 2 RBI.  Also, I just noticed this, but Kevin "Cherry" Garcia had a single and 4 walks in the game.  Ramsey Bolton pitches tonight at 7:05 PM MT.

The Arizona Reds won a close one by the score of 3-2.  Jonathon "Crawfish" Crawford started the game and went 1.1 innings giving up a hit, a HBP, 2 ER, and a K.  Sounds like the first inning was clean and he left some inherited runners on to score in the second.  Adrian "Gonzalez" Rodriguez pitched 4.2 scoreless with 3 K, but looks to have let in the two inherited runners, and Sandy "Britches" Lugo struck out 5 in 3 scoreless innings.  Raul "Castro" Wallace and Leandro "Carlos" Santana both had 2 hits in the game, and Santana also had a walk.
