Mike Leake vs. Mike Pelfrey

New series, and we're back home. The Reds take on the Twinkies for 3, who are another tough interleague matchup. They'll start it off with Mike Leake on the hill tonight, who's one of few Reds pitchers playing well. The Mike Leake Showcase rolls on, with what's sure to be plenty of scouts in attendance.

The Reds will be the 4th NL Central team that Pelfrey has faced this year, and he's fared well against all of them so far, so that's not a good sign. His last great start was against the Brewers, and he went 8 innings against St. Louis 2 starts ago. He hasn't faced the Reds since he was a Met, and he's 3-0 with a 4.33 ERA in 4 career starts in Cincinnati.

I have no idea what the bullpen situation looks like, but pretty much everybody got work yesterday. Except Chapman, who hasn't pitched since Thursday.

Go Reds!

Editor's Note: SB Nation's partner FanDuel is hosting a $100,000 one-day fantasy baseball league today. It's $3 to join and first place wins $8,000. Enter now!
