Mike Leake vs. Gerrit Cole

COMPLETE COVERAGE >

Leakey is back on the hill for another audition just another routine start, as the Reds try to turn this series around. The bullpen got taxed pretty badly last night, so they could use a solid outing from Leake. He did that in his last start, going 7 shutout innings, so a repeat of that would be a welcomed sight for this Reds offense.

Especially since that offense will be facing Gerrit Cole, who's been one of the best pitchers in baseball this year. He's probably a lock for at least 7 innings and 2 or less runs, so the Reds will need to either keep this low-scoring or defy the odds and score some runs.

It'll be even tougher without Brandon Phillips, who was scratched after re-injuring his thumb. Rats.

Go Reds!
