Farmers Only: Rain, Rain, Go Away

You can go anywhere but California.

Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

The Louisville game with Syracuse was banged because it was raining.

Pensacola had their game postponed because it was raining cats and dogs.

Daytona didn't have rain, for some reason, and beat Clearwater, 7-4.  Barrett Astin had a nifty start (6.1 innings, 6 hits, 2 runs, 1 earned, 0 walks, and 8 strikeouts).  Junior Felix "Kitty" Arias was 2 for 5 with a 2 run dinger and 2 runs scored; Robert Ramirez was 3 for 4 with a double, triple, and 3 RBI; and Alex the Blandingo ate some babies with a 2 for 3 night with a double and 2 runs scored.  Jackson Stephens pitches tonight at 7:05 EDT.

Dayton dropped their game with Lansing, 4-2.  Mark "Stretch" Armstrong pitched 5.2 innings giving up 5.2 innings, 4 hits, 4 runs, 2 earned, 2 walks, and 3 strikeouts.  Brennan "San" Bernardino pitched 1.1 scoreless with 2 strikeouts, and Brian "Deer" Hunter pitched 2.0 innings with 3 strikeouts.  Brian "Beef" O'Grady had 2 walks.  Narciso Crook had the one RBI on a triple.  Womp Womp.  Dayton has Tuesday off.
