Sorry for the lateness. The Billings game ended very late.
Louisville had the night off, which is great because I didn't have to write about them. YEEEEEEAAAAAHHH! Barkevius Sampson starts tonight.
Pensacola had their game rescheduled to 6/19 because the power is out. There may be a God. Robert Stephenson is suppose to start the second game.
Daytona did play their game and lost like a bunch of freakin losers, 4-1. "Double" Barrett "Shotgun" Astin was solid again (7 IP, 7 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 3 BB, 5 K). Rob Bob Ramirez, who has been killing the ball lately, was 2 for 4 with a run scored. Phillip Ervin walked. That's about it. I'm trying to write as much as possible. TBD starts tonight at 7:05 EST
Dayton played some winner winner chicken dinner baseball, beating South bend by a score of 2-1 in the 10th inning. Seth "Vinnie Vannie" Varner had a very effective start (5 IP, 5 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 6 K). Brennan "San" Bernardino and Jacob "Vinyl Scratch" Ehret both had scoreless appearances. Brian "Da Beef" O'Grady was 1 for 4 with 2 RBI. Ronald "This Is Bullshit This Is" Bueno and Gavin "Deep In" LaValley both had two walks in the game. Totes sweet, I guess. Good Golly Miss Mahle starts tonight.
Billings had their season opener last night, and beat Great Falls with 3 runs in the 9th, 6-5.. Ty "Boils?" Boyles (A 11th Round pick out of 2013, who has tore up Arizona the past 2 seasons) had a commendable start (4.1 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 3 K). Ty "Steamer" Sterner and Shane "Conor" Crouse both pitch 2 inning while giving up no earned runs. 2015 first round pick, Tyler "Kennesaw Mountain" Stephenson, was 2 for 3 with a walk and a run scored. 2015 3rd round pick, Blake Trahan was 2 for 3 with a RBI, 2 walks, and a run scored. Also, Hector Vargas had himself 2 hits and a RBI. 2015 7th round draftee, Jordan "Gordon" Ramsey will be pitching tonight at 7:05 PM MT. Yeehaw!
