Jason Marquis vs. Hector Noesi

COMPLETE COVERAGE >

[SAME GAME, DIFFERENT DAY. SO SAME PREDS THREAD]

The Reds venture into interleague play, opening up a weekend series in Chicago against the White Sox. The Sox aren't playing very well as of late, so the Reds can make a nice statement and win another road series.

Jason Marquis takes the hill for Cincinnati, fresh off another quality start in Atlanta. The Sox will have Hector Noesi on the hill, who hasn't had a quality start all year. He's never started against the Reds, but gave up 6 runs in a relief appearance where he only went 1 2/3 innings.

Also, Joey Votto is suspended for this one, giving the Reds a 23-man roster to work with. Zack Cozart is back after being out of the lineup with a wrist... thing.

Go Reds.
