MLB.com's Mark Sheldon dropped this uber depressing news on Twitter on Tuesday afternoon, pretty much confirming the fears most Cincinnati Reds fans have had since the moment they heard the words "catcher" and "hip impingment" some three weeks ago. It's another snake bite to a franchise that has already dealt with serious injuries to players recently signed to long extensions (see: Votto, Joey and Bailey, Homer), and it's a huge blow to an offense hoping to back Johnny Cueto and Mike Leake for one last run before the pitching staff goes AWOL. Ugh. Just, just ugh.
