Michael Lorenzen vs. Jeff Locke

COMPLETE COVERAGE >

Reds are back in action today, facing the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Buccos are coming off of a rough series against the Cardinals, where they got walked off 3 games in a row. Unfortunately for us, they get to go home and face a Reds team with a new sense of urgency.

Kicking off the series will be Michael Lorenzen, about to make his second big league start. He was serviceable in his first outing, giving up 3 runs in 5 innings in a game the Reds lost.

They'll face Jeff Locke, who got knocked around in his previous two starts, both against the Cubs.

Reds will be without Zack Cozart, who's still ailing a bit. Marlon Byrd is hitting second, for whatever reason.

Go Reds.
