Farmers Only: Mongo, Danny, and Phil

Louisville rallied late, scoring 3 runs in the 9th and 1 in the 10th, to beat the Charlotte Knights 5-4.  David Holmberg struggled through 5.1 innings, giving up 4 runs on 8 hits (2 of which were dingers) and 4 walks.  The law firm of Hayes, Klimesh, and Adcock kept the Knights off the board through the remaining 4.2 innings.  Irving Falu "Kuti" went 3-6 with a double, and Chris "Sabado" Dominguez knocked in 2 runs on a 2-5 night with 2 doubles.  Jon Moscot looks to keep his perfect intact tonight against the Gwinnett Barves.

Pensacola beat the Jacksonville Suns 5-2.  Daniel Wright gave up a pair of runs in the first, before settling down and tossing the next 5 scoreless frames.  He finished the night with a 6 IP, 9 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 5 K line.  Oh, and he also went 2-2 at the plate with an RBI and a run scored.  Kyle Waldrop went 1-4 with a solo wanger.  Wandy Peralta takes the hill against the Suns in the series finale tonight.

Daytona had a dramatic win against the Palm Beach Cardinals, winning 5-4 in 12 innings.  Phil Ervin went 2-5, knocking in the tying run, while Junior Arias went 2-6 with a double, and drove in the winning run on a single in the 12th.  Sal Romano tossed 8 solid innings, striking out 6 and walking none while allowing 2 runs on 9 hits.  Amir Garrett faces off against the Clearwater Threshers tonight at 6:30 ET.

Dayton took the only organizational loss on Thursday, falling 5-4 in Great Lakes.  Wyatt Strahan gave up 4 runs over 3 innings, but only 1 was earned.  He allowed 5 hits and 3 walks while striking out 3. Jeremy "Evil" Kivel struck out 2 in a perfect inning of relief.  The Dragons managed 9 hits on the night, with none being of the extra-base variety.  Tejay Antone toes the rubber for Dayton tonight at 6:30 ET.
