Louisville dropped a game to Charlotte by a score of 5-4.  Josh Smith turned in a very boring name kind of game throwing 6 innings of 4 hit, 1 earned run, 0 walks, and 5 strikeouts.  Each reliever gave up an earned run, including Sam LeCure who gave up the game winner.  Hernan Iribarren had two hits, a double, and a walk, and Chris Dominguez hit 2 doubles and had a RBI.  Eugenio Suarez was 1 for 2 with 2 walks and 2 runs scored.  Holmdiggity will be on the mound tonight.

Pensacola got a good showing from their young bloods, winning by a score of 5-1.  Bob Steve turned in his best start of the season, albeit a wild one, by pitching 5 innings and giving up 2 hits, 0 earned runs, 4 walks, and 4 strikeouts.  Lame Layne Somsen threw 3 scoreless inning in relief with 3 strikeouts.  Kyle "Wallop" Waldrop had a big day for the Wahoos.  Kyle went 2 for 4, scoring 2 runs, and 3 RBI.  Two of those RBI came when he banged a wanger in the 3rd inning.  Ryan Wright hit another 2 doubles in the game as well.  Daniel Wright will start tonight. Salvatore Romano will start tonight.

Daytona bested Palm Beach by a score of 4-3.  Nick Travieso pitched 4 innings, giving up 3 earned runs on 8 hits, 1 walk, and 5 strikeouts.  There are reports that he was hitting 96 MPH which is a good thing.  Blaine "Is A Pain" Howell, Joel "Shiny Ass" Bender, and Jimmy "Get A Brain" Moran combined for the final 6 shutout innings.  Phillip Ervin hit his 8th dinger of the year, and Sebastian "Bach" Elizalde and Taylor "Swift" Sparks both had 2 hit games.

Dayton lost 1-2 in 11 innings against the Loons.  Tyler "Darth" Mahle had a great start.  He pitched 8 scoreless innings and only 6 hits, 0 walks, and struck out 6.  His lone run came on a solo home run.  Jacob "Record Scratch" Ehret would give up the winning run in 2.2 innings.  Gavin LaValley was responsible for the only Dragon's run with a RBI double.  He also had a walk.  Luis Gonzalez was 2 for 3, and Ty "Walla Walla" Washington had 2 walks and a run scored.
