Farmers Only: Three Out of Four Ain't Bad

Louisville got shut out 4-0 at the hands of the Charlotte Knights.  Donovan "Mr." Hand got the start and gave up all 4 runs, striking out 5 and walking none.  Ryan LaMarre was responsible for half the Bats' hits, going 2-4 with a double.  Josh Smith makes his second start for the Bats today at noon.

Pensacola blanked the Jacksonville Suns, winning 5-0.  Jesse Winker went 2-4 with 3 runs scored, bringing his OBP up to .341 on the year.  Kyle Waldrop drove in 2 runs, going 2-4 with a double and a triple.  Timothy Adelman tossed 6 scoreless innings, striking out 2, walking 1 and allowing 6 hits.  Bob Steve looks to right the ship at 10:05 AM.

Daytona beat up on the Palm Beach Cardinals 10-2.  Sebastian Elizalde and Carlton "Amon" Daal II both went 3-4 with 3 singles.  Alex Blandino went 2-4, while Phil Ervin went 1-4 with a walk and an RBI.  Jackson Stephens gave up 2 runs on a pair of solo dingers over 6.2 innings, fanning 3 and walking 2.  Naughty Nick takes the hill at 10:35 AM today for baseball at breakfast time.

Dayton won handily, besting the Great Lakes Loons 8-3.  Mark "Strong Arm" Armstrong carried a shutout into the 5th where he gave up 3 runs and got the hook.  He finished the day with a 4.2 IP, 10 H, 3 ER, 1 BB, 5 K line.  Ronnie "Be" Bueno went 2-4 with a pair of doubles, and RBI, and a walk.  Ty Washington reached base 4 times and drove in 2 runs, going 2-3 with 2 walks.  The Dragons will send Tyler "The Creator" Mahle to the mound today to take on the Loons at 10:35 AM.
