Do you feel like Phil do?

Pensacola threatened with a late rally, but ultimately fell 3-2 to the Birmingham Barons.  Jesse Winker continued his early season struggles, going 1-4 with a single and 3 strikeouts.  Zach Vincej went 2-2 with a double and a walk.  Daniel "Not Ryan" Wright struck out 5 and walked none in 5 innings, but gave up 3 runs (2 earned) on 6 hits.  Josh Smith continues his tour of the Reds affiliates, making a start for the Wahoos at 8:05 ET.

Daytona worked around 4 errors, beating the Dunedin Blue Jays 7-3.  Phil Ervin went 2-3 with a dinger, a double, and a walk - bringing his OPS over 1.000 through the first 13 games.  Uncle Phil is back, you guys.  Sal Romano gave up 1 earned and 2 unearned runs, striking out 5 with no walks in 6 innings.  El'Hajj Muhammad struck out 3 over 2 perfect innings.   He was followed by Zack "Berliner" Weiss, who struck out all 3 batters he faced.  Amir Garrett faces off against the Tampa Yanks at 7:00 ET.

Dayton were swept and shut out in a double header where they managed just 6 hits over the 14 innings.  In game one, the Dragons lost 8-0 and were held to just 2 singles.  Wyatt Strahan got tagged with the loss, giving up 7 runs (4 earned) in 4 innings.  Game two saw better pitching, but a 1-0 loss nonetheless.  Jake "Meat Loaf" Paulson got the tough luck loss, giving up a run on 4 hits over 4 innings, fanning one.  Tejay Antone looks to get some run support tonight against the Hot Rods at 7:35 ET.
