Farmers Only: The Rain in Spain Falls Mainly on Florida

Louisville had the night off.  They head to Toledo tonight to take on the Mudhens at 6:30 ET, Mongo make pitch for Bats.

Pensacola squeaked past the Birmingham Barons, winning 6-5.  Robert Stephenson made his second start of the season, and the returns were mixed.  Stephenson struck out out 9 and walked just 2 in 5.1 innings, but he was also responsible for all 5 Birmingham runs.  Ryan Wright went 3-5 with 2 doubles and a triple, but neither drove in nor scored a run in the game.  Jesse Winker went 0-5 with a strikeout and a sacrifice.  Seth Mejias-Brean drove in a pair of runs, going 2-3 with a double, a triple and a pair of walks.  The Wahoos continue their series against the Barons tonight at 8:05 ET.

Daytona had their game postponed due to "wet grounds".  They'll play a doubleheader tomorrow with Sal "Low APR Financing" Romano taking the hill in game one.

Dayton got shellacked by the Lansing Lugnuts last night, losing 11-3.  Aristides Aquino honked his first wanger of the season, as he went 1-4 with a solo shot and a strikeout.   Tyler "Darth" Mahle got beat up early and often, giving up 5 runs, 4 earned, in 4 innings.  Alejandro "el Grande" Chacin made it through the 5th unscathed, before getting roughed up himself in the 6th, giving up 4 runs on 5 hits.  The Dragons face off against the Bowling Green Hot Rods tonight at 7:35 ET.
