Next weekend, the Reds will host their premier fan event of the winter at the Duke Energy Convention Center. Redsfest, the annual meet-and-greet with the fans and many members of the Reds, will kick off next Friday, and will run from 3pm to 10:30pm Friday night, and then will resume Saturday from 11am to 6:30pm.
On schedule to attend of the current Reds include Brandon Phillips, Joey Votto, Billy Hamilton, Jay Bruce, Todd Frazier and Aroldis Chapman.
As we all know, the MLB Winter Meetings will be held less than a week thereafter, and there's a very good chance that more than a couple of these Reds will no longer be Reds when that time comes band passes. It may be the last opportunity for Reds fans to see some of their favorite players in the flesh before they are playing for another team.
There will be photo opportunities, autograph signings, interactive games and much more fun for the entire family. Two day tickets are $25 for adults, $12 for children 12 and under. One day tickets will run $17 for adults and $7 for children. Children under 3 are free.
"Redsfest has rapidly become a 'must-see,' family-friendly event for baseball fans," Reds Chief Operating Officer Phil Castellini said in an email. "There's nothing like seeing Reds players, coaches and broadcasters in person."

I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving on behalf of everyone here at Red Reporter. It's about this time of year that I become extremely thankful for baseball because, well, it's not here and it's still not particularly close to returning again. Every cold day that goes by is worse for having no baseball.
I hope everyone enjoys stuffing themselves on this holiday.
