About the Reds not being infuriating...
Last night was the kind of night where anything that could have went wrong, went wrong. It was a meltdown of epic proportions, followed by another bullpen meltdown in the "quick turnaround that was supposed to make you forget about the first game" game. It gets worse, as the Reds go St. Louis, where they haven't exactly been tearing it up.
They'll have Mike Leake going in this first game, though, who has been pitching surprisingly well lately despite a sputter in Boston. He's faced the Cardinals twice this year, and threw 8 shutout innings in his last outing at Busch.
Justin Masterson goes for the Cards, who is coming off of his best start for the team against Miami. You may remember him as a Cleveland Indian, when he faced the Reds 5 times to the tune of a 2.86 ERA.
Go Reds! Please don't do what you did twice yesterday!
