Louisville had a big 9th inning, scoring 4 runs to beat the Columbus Clippers 6-2.  Dylan Axelrod had a Holy Thursday, striking out 10 batters in 7 innings while allowing a pair of runs on 5 hits and a walk.  The Bats got on the board in the 3rd inning with back to back jacks from Jason Bourgeois (2-3, BB) and Ruben Gotaty (1-4).  Tucker Barnhart, who went 1-4, smacked a 2-run double in the 9th inning to put the game out of reach.  Up Next:  Brett Marshall (0-7, 9.09 ERA) faces off against Cow Town at 7:15 ET.

Pensacola rode a strong start from Ben Lively to a 6-4 victory over the Tennessee Smokies.  Lively carried a no-hitter into the 7th inning where he gave up a pair of singles and got pulled from the game.  The bullpen allowed the 2 inherited runners to score, and Lively finished the day with 6 K and a walk.  Yorman Rodriguez went 3-5 with 2 doubles, and scored 3 runs.  Rossmel Perez drove in 4 runs, going 3-4 with a double.  Up Next:  Daniel Corcino (9-9, 4.44 ERA) takes on the Smokies at 7:15 ET.

Bakersfield lost 3-1 to the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes.  Ismael Guillon looked sharp, fanning 8 batters over 6 innings, allowing just 1 run on 5 hits and 3 walks.  Unfortunately, the offense.  The Blaze managed just 6 hits on the night, and had their only run come from a Sean Buckley solo dinger.  Up Next:  Drew Cisco (5-5, 5.84 ERA) squares off against the Quakes at 10:05 ET.

Dayton outslugged the Lugnuts, beating Lansing 8-6.  "Sorry Ms." Jackson Stephens gave up 5 runs in 4.1 innings on 7 hits and a walk.  But the offense was there to pick up the slack.  Jon Matthews reached base 4 times, going 3-4 with a double and a walk, driving in 2 runs.  Alex "The Great" Blandino went 1-5 with a double and a walk.  Up Next:  Amir Garrett (4-6, 3.75 ERA) takes the hill as the South Bend Silver Hawks head to Dayton at 7:00 ET.

Billings bested the Brewers, beating Helena 7-3.  Aristides Aquino (2-3, HR, 2 BB) just cannot be stopped.  He honked his 12th wanger of the year, which tied him for the league lead.  Taylor Sparks went 3-5 with a double and a dinger.  Luke Moran struck out 7 and walked none in 6 innings, allowing 3 runs (2 earned) on 5 hits.  Up Next:  Tejay Antone (0-2, 7.24 ERA) faces the Voyagers at 9:00 ET.

The AZL Reds lost to the Indians in a barn burner, falling 9-8.  Dalton Carter drove in 2, going 4-5 with 2 doubles.  Gavin LaValley went 1-3 with 2 walks and a triple.  Mark Armstrong gave up 6 runs (4 earned) in 3.2 innings on 5 hits and 2 walks, while striking out 5.  Up Next: More Reds and Indians action at 10 ET.
