Alfredo Simon v. Wade Miley

COMPLETE COVERAGE >

Last night's game was... dare I say it?

Fun.

I had fun watching the Reds last night. I think it's a good reminder that even though playoff chances remain slim, there's still a lot here to like.

Today's game could mean a series win, and that would be absolutely vital to the Reds' morale after the stretch they've had. It could also be a buyer's last chance to see Alfredo Simon before the deadline, you know, just in case. Simon's had a rough patch since the All-Star break, but had a quality start against the Diamondbacks earlier this year, so you never know.

The offense didn't look as bad last night, but still didn't score more than 3 runs again. It'd be great if they eclipsed that today.

Go Reds!
