Yankee Stadium

Mike Leake v. David Phelps

COMPLETE COVERAGE >

Saturday day baseball today, which is exactly what the Reds need after that tough loss last night. The Reds will send All-Star Alfredo Simon to the hill, fresh off of putting up a zero in his inning at Target Field. Despite pitching in Baltimore for years, he only has one inning at the new Yankee Stadium.

They'll face Brandon McCarthy, newly acquired from Arizona. He's a player the Reds have roughed up historically, and his 14.73 ERA against the Reds in 3 starts is his highest against any team. He went 6 2/3 in his first Yankees start against Cleveland, only giving up 1 run.

Go Reds!
