By my count, that gives us a 14-man pitching staff (at least for tonight). I know that Cubs series was a little taxing, but isn't that overkill?
Also, this really doesn't address what's going to happen at 1B and 2B long term. Jay Bruce and Ramon Santiago are your guys there tonight, and your bench tonight is Brayan Pena, Kris Negron, and Skip Schumaker. That's it.
A head-scratcher if there ever was one. What do you think?
