Homer Bailey v. Kyle Hendricks

Should be a fun one today. The Reds have the getaway day lineup out in full force today, with Phillips and Hamilton ailing and Mesoraco and Bruce getting the day off. The Reds called up Kris Negron to help cover the bench, with Carlos Contreras being sent back to AAA after doing an admirable job up here.

The Reds have Homer Bailey on the mound, coming off of two great outings in a row against the Giants and Brewers. He got waxed his last time out against the Cubs, so he'll be looking for retribution today.

The Cubs have Kyle Hendricks going today, who has a 10-5 record and a 3.59 ERA for AAA Iowa this year. This will be his major league debut, which could go either way for the Reds.

I have no idea how this is going to go today, so it'll be fun to watch.

Go Reds!
