Last night was a lot of fun, and the Reds have the chance to win the series tonight. They'll face off against Ryan Vogelsong, who's having a perfectly serviceable season. He has a 4.57 ERA at GABP in 6 appearances, only two of them being starts. He went 6 innings and gave up 4 runs in his last start, but was scoreless for 18 innings before that start.
He'll face Tony Cingrani for the Reds, who after 22 straight starts of giving up 5 or less hits to start his career, has allowed over 5 hits in every start since the streak was broken (5 counting the streak-breaker). Tony also only went 5 innings in his last start, which will need to be better if he wants to keep his rotation spot when Mat Latos gets back.
The bullpen is well rested, at least.
Go Reds!
