Farmers Only: Little Fury Things

Louisville stuck the IronPigs, en route to a 6-3 victory on Tuesday night.  Chien-Ming Wang walked the tightrope, working around 10 hits and a walk, to allow 3 earned runs in 6 innings of work.  Nick Christiani and Jumbo Diaz kept the Pigs quiet, allowing just two baserunners over the final third.  Neftali Soto was jamming extra hard, he went 3-4, banging out a pair of doubles and a solo nerf herder.  Jason Bourgeois, Felix Perez, and Argenis Diaz all went 2-4 on the night.  Up Next:  Mat Latos makes what should be his final rehab start tonight at 7:05 ET.

Pensacola got burnt by the Jacksonville Suns and lost a close one 3-2.  Mikey O'Brien pitched admirably in his 5 innings, striking out 5 and allowing just one run on a walk and 4 hits.  I'm still not entirely sure why he's in the Pensacola rotation, and not Ben Lively, but hopefully that changes here soon with draft day approaching.  Travis Mattair "Bear Bunch" had the only Pensacola extra-base hit, going 2-4 with a double.  And Brodie "Dude man brah" Greene, who also went 2-4, had the only other multi-hit game for the 'Hoos.  Jamie Walczak got tagged with the loss, giving up a pair of runs in the 8th inning. Bakersfield lost 6-2 to the Stockton Jorts.  Wandy Peralta struggled mightily, giving up 5 earned runs on 5 hits and 2 walks, while striking out 2 in 2.1 innings.  Sean Lucas came on in relief and tossed 2.2 perfect innings, striking out 5.  The bats were fairly quiet on the night.  Jesse Winker "I Hardly Knew Her" went 1-4 with a double, and Marquez Smith went 2-4 with a two-bagger.  Up Next:  Daniel Wrong Wright (0-0, 10.80 ERA) takes the hill for the Blaze at 10:30 PM ET.

Dayton had the night off.  They head to Bowling Green to face the Hot Rods at 8:05 ET.  Ismael Guillon (3-0, 2.87 ERA) gets the start.
