The Reds embark on a week-long road trip, hitting two tough division foes in Milwaukee and Pittsburgh. They open up tonight against the Brew Crew, and Matt Garza on the mound.
Garza's a familiar foe for the Reds, but has seen his share of bumps in the road so far this season. He's on a nice streak now, though, as he has two quality starts in a row, but the Reds have had his number throughout his career, holding him to a 6.34 ERA in 6 starts.
He'll face off against Homer Bailey, who has 4 straight quality starts to his name. He struck out 7 in 8 innings in his last start, and went 8 innings against the Brewers earlier this year, giving up 3 runs in that one. Homer has made 7 starts in Miller Park in his career, to the tune of a 4.93 ERA.
Usual lineup today, with Skip in LF for Ludwick.
Go Reds! They're my favorite team!
