Johnny Cueto v. Jhoulys Chacin

COMPLETE COVERAGE >

The Rockies have the hottest bats in the game. Johnny Cueto is pitching very, very, well. Something has to give. Or I guess not. But it will probably give. Anyways, I hope it's the Rockies that will give.

Joey Votto will be batting 4th in tonight's lineup, for reasons a bit beyond my understanding. It doesn't seem to matter who the dang the Rockies bat 4th, since they all hit like it's the bottom of the ninth with J.J. Hoover on the mound these days.

Jhoulys Chacin will get his second start of the season tonight, and his first was pretty rough: 5IP, 8BB, 4ER, 5BB, 4K. He wasn't very good when he was healthy, and he may not be very good now. The next two games in the series are gonna be rough, so the Reds really oughta pick this one up.

Not really sure what both Partch and Christiani are doing here, but I guess they're able to tell Parra what to do in an off day.
