Last night was the Devin Mesoraco show, as the Golem drove in 5 of the 6 Reds runs on a grand slam and a solo wanger. He sits at 8 homers on the year, which is one short of his career high of 9, which he honked last year.
Tonight, though, it's Johnny time. Cueto's starts have become must see TV for Reds fans this season, and even after two less than superb starts, his ERA is a tidy 1.83, good for 4th best in the league. Johnny has pitched well against the D'Backs in his career, so hopefully the trend continues tonight.
Opposing Cueto, is Twitter all-star, and all around good dude, Brandon McCarthy. McCarthy has been having a Jekyll and Hyde season, giving up 2 or fewer runs in 5 of his 11 starts, while also giving up 5 or more runs in 5 starts. Here's hoping we see Mr. Hyde.
Go Reds! Woooo!
