Reds at D'Backs, Game 2: Preview/Predictions

Together again

After beating Clayton Kersahw and leaving LA on a good note, last night's game left us with a good deal of dangitude.  But, getting beat handily by the Diamondbacks, and having a not so great pitcher get the complete game shutout where he faces the minimum 27 batters will tend to do that.

Anyway, onward and upward.  Tonight we have the battle of the best buds, with Bronson Arroyo squaring off against Mike Leake.  After a rough start to the season where he was dealing with a nagging back injury, Goodroyo has reemerged in the desert with a 1.73 ERA in his last 5 starts.

Mike Leake has been excellent in the month of May as well, not allowing more than 2 ER in his last 5 starts.  Leake has struggled against the D'Backs, with a 6.10 ERA in 5 career appearances.  No time like the present to turn that around.

Go Reds, they're Petey Hendrix's favorite team!
