Nationals Park

Mike Leake v. Stephen Strasburg

COMPLETE COVERAGE >

Rough start to the road trip, gang. Let's hope things click tonight in Washington, despite Joey Votto's injury woes.

Mike Leake gets the ball for the 'Legs, coming off of his best start of the season against San Diego. He's got 3 quality starts in a row. He's made 4 starts at Nationals Park in his career, and has a 5.24 there, which could be better.

He'll face Nationals ace Stephen Strasburg, who has 5 straight quality starts of his own. The Reds have his number, though, and the 7.36 ERA he owns against Cincinnati is his worst against any opponent.

We'll see both Brayan Pena and Devin Mesoraco in the lineup tonight, with Joey Votto still on the shelf. Once the Reds get through this rough stretch of injuries, they'll look a whole lot more intimidating, but they'll need guys to step up in the meantime.

Go Reds!
