Mama said there's be games like last night's. Onward and upward.
Luckily for the Reds, they'll have Johnny Cueto to put out this fire. Cueto has 5 straight starts with 8 or more innings, and as pointed out by Slyder on twitter, is the first Red with that distinction since Tom Browning in 1989. Not bad company, if you ask me. Cueto has a 6.00 ERA in his career against San Diego in 5 starts, so he'll look to improve that tonight.
He'll face Ian Kennedy for the Padres. Kennedy has been up and down this season so far, but is coming off of his best start so far, a 12 strikeout performance against the Marlins. He has a 1.69 ERA in 3 starts at GABP.
Go Reds! They're my favorite team!
