Mike Leake v. Andrew Cashner

COMPLETE COVERAGE >

The last series went well, and the Reds are refreshed going into another home series. Let's build off of this.

The Reds take on the mediocre Padres, with Mike Leake taking the hill for tonight's opener. Leake has a 3.45 ERA in 3 starts against SD in his career, and two quality starts in a row, his last one coming at Fenway.

Andrew Cashner had a hot start to the season, but has been a little shaky lately. He has 1 quality start in his last 4, and went a season-low 4 innings in hist last start. Cashner gave up 5 runs last year in 5 innings in his only start at GABP, but had a couple of previous relief appearances that went okay.

Weather might play a factor into this one, but hopefully they'll luck out and the delays won't be too bad.

Go Reds! They're my favorite team!
