I think last night's Reds win is a bigger one than we probably realize at the moment. A game almost lasting 5 hours when you include delays, a good night for the bullpen, and a 1-run game that actually fell in the Reds' favor.
They'll try to finish the "sweep" tonight, if that's what you want to call it. Tony Cingrani takes the hill for the good guys. He was good his last time out in Pittsburgh, giving up one run in 6 innings, but struggled against this same Cubs team in his start before that.
They'll face Edwin Jackson, who had his first quality start of the season his last time out against Arizona. He also faced the Reds when they were in Chicago, giving up 2 runs in 5 2/3 innings. He has a 3.00 ERA at GABP in two career starts.
The weather forecast looks lots better for tonight. Go Reds!
