Sheldon: Tony Spaghetti Speaks

After what seems like months without a real update, Mark Sheldon sits down with Tony Cingrani.  After the trades of Latos and Simon, Cingrani seems to be first in line to take over one of the vacant rotation spots.  Price has not ruled out a move to the bullpen if that would help the team, but Cingrani wants to remain a starter.  The money quote was this, from Cingrani himself:

"I feel strong. I was cleared months ago.  I'll be fine."

Big, if true.

Korea Gets Jack

Jack Hannahan will take his bum shoulder to Korea to play for the LG Twins.  After signing him to a 1 yr/$1 million deal, I would guess that the Twins think he can actually throw a baseball this season.  So long Jack, and thanks for all the memories.

Fay: Castellini Says the Reds aren't Rebuilding

RedsMinorLeagues: Billings Mustangs Sold to New Group

This shouldn't really affect the Reds' relationship with their longest running minor league affiliation, however.
