There's still a chance for home field. I think we'll see another sold out crowd today, but then again, I'm not sure how much good the full house did the Reds last night. According to "the players", that's what they were waiting for to start winning, right? Maybe I was led astray by Mr. Ludwick's comments.
Either way, the Reds have Bronson Arroyo going in what could be his last start at GABP. It'll be sad if that's the case, honestly, but I think we understand either way. Let's make it a memorable one for him.
The offense needs to cooperate for that to happen, though, and they have fictional salt magnate Charlie Morton to deal with. The Reds have avoided Morton for most of the year, their only run-in with him coming in June where he pitched 5 1/3 shutout innings.
Go Reds. They're my favorite team who really doesn't seem to into playing baseball right now.
