Louisville lost to the Mudhens 4-3 in extras after Kanekoa Texeira blew a save in the bottom of the 9th, and Nick Christiani gave up the walkoff in the 10th. Yohan Pino, who has filled in admirably for Tony Spaghetti since his call up, tossed 6 innings of 2 ER, 5 H, 5 K, 3 BB ball. Manly men, Corky Miller (2-4) and Mike Hessman (2-4, 2 Fuckblasts), did manly things, but the rest of the offense was dormant. Up Next: Chad Rogers (0-1, 4.50 ERA) makes his second start for the Bats in Toledo at 7 PM ET.

Pensacola lost a bullpen battle, falling 3-2 to Jackson. The Wahoos' offense left a bit to be desired, as Yorman Rodriguez (2-4, 2B) had the Wahoos' only multi-hit game and XBH. Josh Smith struck out 6 in 6 innings, but allowed 3 runs (2 earned) on 3 hits and a walk. Up Next: OFF DAY!

Bakersfield fell 3-2 to the Modesto Nuts. Mike Dennhardt struck out 8 and walked none in 6 innings. Unfortunately, the pair of wangers. He gave up 2, the Nuts scored thrice, and Dennhardt got a tough-luck loss. Ryan Wright went 3-4 with a solo johnson, and Juan Silva went 2-4 with a stolen base. That was about it. Up Next: The Blaze continue their series at Sam Lynn Ballpark at 10:45 PM ET. No starters announced yet.

Dayton found themselves on the right side of a 4-3 victory in 10 innings as they hosted South Bend. Tanner Rahier, who has been on fire to start the month of July (1.036 OPS), drove in 2 runs on 2 doubles in 4 AB. Seth Mejias-Brean also had a multi-hit night, going 2-5 with an RBI and a run scored. Robert Stephenson eased into his first start back from the DL like Yossi sitting down to the latest Cy Schourek post. He gave up 3 runs in 3.2 innings, though none were earned, striking out 3, walking 2, and allowing 2 hits. Jackson Stephens gave up 2 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 2 in 5.1 scoreless innings. Up Next: ANOTHER OFF DAY!

Billings had the day off. Amir Garrett (1-1, 2.40 ERA) will take the hill as the Mustangs head to Grand Junction at 9:05 PM ET.

The AZL Reds beat the Lil' Angels 9-4, thanks in large part to 4 errors committed by the Angels. Aristides Aquino, who followed Oviel Florentino in the lineup, went 3-4 with a double and a walk. Kevin Franklin went 1-4 with a double and an RBI. Franderlin Romero struck out 5 in 3 innings and gave up an unearned run on 2 hits. Up Next: AN OFF DAY YET AGAIN!
