Wish the nightcap would have went better, but all in all, it's hard to not be happy with this series so far. The offense seems to have livened up a bit, and the pitching hasn't been as bad as we're used to seeing on the West Coast.
Tonight caps off the series, and the Reds have an opportunity to take it.
Kinda-sorta-ace Mike Leake takes the hill for the Reds against Chad Gaudin, who's been really good so far this year. This will be Gaudin's 8th start after spending most of the year in the bullpen so far, and has a 2.23 ERA in his starts so far. Looks like we'll see Xavier Paul be the 4th different Reds LF to start in this series, which is excessive.
It'll really be nice to take a series from the Giants where you have to win 3 games. We better not have to play a day game tomorrow, is all I'm saying. Go Reds!
