Not much else to do other than put our heads down and soldier on. The good news is that the team is at home all week, and can hopefully make up some ground. No sense paying attention to how the Cards and Buccos are doing. All that counts is winning these games at home.

Of course, the last time the Reds played at home against this team, it didn't go so well. We'll not dwell on that.

They'll try to right the ship with Bronson Arroyo on the mound. Bronson had a major Badroyo moment last time out against the A's, and needs to avoid that if the Reds want to be even remotely close to winning this game. It's also worth mentioning that the last time Bronson faced the Giants, it was 7 shutout innings in a playoff game on the road.

The Giants will counter with Mike Kickham, who's a Missouri native making his third career start. I already am not a big fan of the guy. Let's hope the Reds can add to that robust 10.57 ERA.

This series is coming at pretty much the worst time possible. The Reds have been struggling in a bad way, and come home to the bad memories here from last October. This is big. Go Reds! They're my favorite team!
