Farmers Only: Soggy Biscuits Edition

Look into my eyes.

Louisville rode the Norfolk Tides to an 8-2 victory. Hank Rod BABIP'd himself 4 singles, and Billy Hamilton kept his hot streak up, swiping two bags on a 2-5 night. Greg Reynolds continues to baffle AAA pitching, and extended his winning steak, throwing 7 innings allowing one unearned run with 3 K and no walks. Up Next: Senor True House (1-3, 5.03 ERA) takes on the Tides tonight at 7:05 PM ET.

Penscola had their game against the Montgomery Biscuits suspended due to rain in the middle of the 7th inning. Danny Renken threw 7 innings of 1-run ball striking out 7 and walking 3. The Wahoos were trailing 1-0 entering the 7th, when Joe "Well Played" Mather wanged a 2-run honker to give Pensacola the lead. They'll pick this one up where they left off tonight at 7:05 PM ET. Up Next: After the completion of last night's game, Josh Smith (4-5, 3.79 ERA) squares off against the Biscuits.

Bakersfield eked out a 1-0 win over the High Desert Mavericks. James Allen won the pitcher's duel, throwing 8 scoreless innings, surrendering only 2 hits with 3 K and 2 BB. He handed it over to Jamie Walczak who got the save in a perfect 9th inning. Jam on. The game's only run came courtesy of Juan Silverio, who high-ho'd a solo shot in the top of the 9th. Up Next: The Blaze continue their series against the Mavericks at 10:05 PM ET. Mike Dennhardt (2-4, 2.92 ERA) will get the start.

Dayton had the day off. They head to Bowling Green to face the Hot Rods at 8:05 PM ET, with Ismael Guillon (1-6, 7.16 ERA) toeing the rubber.
