After that train wreck to cap off the Pittsburgh series, the Reds could really use a nice win. The Reds come home to face the Rockies, who have seemingly been better than expected this year. As Mibs mentioned on the podcast earlier on in the week, Carlos Gonzalez and Troy Tulowitzki have been as good as any duo in the NL, even giving our Votto/BP pairing a run for their money.
Bronson Arroyo takes the hill to start this one out, and he has a career 4.98 ERA against the Rox. He got knocked around his last time out in Cleveland, but he's had quality starts his last two times at home.
He'll face the youngster Tyler Chatwood, who's been great this year. He's got a 2.12 ERA so far this year in 5 starts, and struck out 10 his last time out (against the Astros, but still). He's never faced the Reds.
