A weird two-game series in Oakland is how we begin our Reds week. The Reds prevailed in their last game in Arizona, but this isn't a bad Oakland team they're about to face. They're 10 games over .500. And despite hitting a skid lately, should not be taken lightly.
Luckily, the Reds have a guy on the mound who's had experience in the AL tonight in Bronson Arroyo. Bronson has a 3.96 ERA in 6 starts against the A's, which is pretty decent for him. He's been great in June, with a 1.57 ERA so far this month.
Meanwhile, the Reds will face soft-tossing lefty Tommy Milone. He's got a 3.98 ERA so far this year, but got knocked around by the Rangers his last time out.
The Reds are rested, and we're likely to see a shakeup with tonight's lineup with Heisey coming back and Brandon Phillips being placed on paternity leave. Here we go. Go Reds!
