Louisville got back to .500 last night, beating the Jr. Braves 6-2. Based (ball) God, Corky Miller, went 1-3 with a walk and a solo Fuckblast in the 9th. Mike Hessman hess'd a honkman and hit a double on a 3-4 night. Cool Papa Billy went 1-4 with a walk and swiped his 23rd bag of the year. Chad "Quick Lube" Reineke threw 7 innings of 2-run ball, striking out 3 and walking 1. These recaps are much more fun to write when the teams win. Up Next: A well deserved off day.

Pensacola dropped the rubber match to the Bay Bears 4-2. Tim Crabbe got roughed up a bit, allowing 4 runs in 5.2 innings on 9 hits, with 4 Ks and a walk. Former Padres prospect Luis Durango had the only offensive performance worth mentioning, going 2-3 with 2 walks. Loek Van Mil tossed a scoreless 9th inning, lowering his ERA to 2.05 on the year. Bakersfield won a Cali League special, beating the High Desert Mavericks 12-10. Ryan Wright had a pretty decent night, going 2-5 with a couple of honked wangers. Someone must have put Yorman Rodriguez under a trance, because he somehow managed a 1-3 night with 2 walks. Jake Johnson pitched about as well as Jack Johnson makes records, giving up 6 runs (5 earned) in 4.2 innings. Up Next: It's gonna be a boring day at the Farmers Only offices, as the Blaze have the day off as well.
