  • Louisville lost 2-1 to Gwinnett, despite a pretty good outing by Armando Galarraga. He went 5 shutout innings, giving up 3 hits and striking out 5. Emmanuel Burriss was 2-for-4, and Billy Hamilton doubled and stole no bases. What a bum. Jose "The Largest Man In Baseball" Diaz pitched a perfect 9th. Up next: Greg Reynolds takes on the LehighValley IronPigs at 6:05.
  • Pensacola lost 5-3 to Tennessee. David Vidal went 2-for-2 and walked twice. Dan Renken gave up 4 runs in 5 2/3 innings (2 ER), and oddly, Kyle Lotzkar threw an inning of relief. I guess he's a reliever now? Up next: Josh "Boring Name" Smith takes on the Smokies at 6:15.
  • Bakersfield lost 3-1 to Visalia. Ryan Wright had 2 of the team's 4 hits and drove in the only run (against superprospect Archie Bradley). Carlos Gonzalez gave up 3 runs in 4 innings and Carlos Gonzalez, El'Hajj "Yes, we spell his name right" Muhammad and Brian Pearl combined for 5 shutout relief innings. Up next: Jon Moscot takes the mound against the Rawhide at 10:15.
  • Dayton lost 3-0 to Peoria. Robert Stephenson pitched 5 2/3 innings and gave up 2 runs, striking out 4. Joe "I'm not sure who this is" Hudson had 2 hits. Up next: Ismael Guillon takes on Peoria at 7.
