Complete Coverage >

You know what? More than 1 hit today counts as a win.

Let's hope Mike Leake steps up and keeps us in this one. It won't be easy to kickstart this offense with Dan Haren on the mound, but it won't matter unless Mike Leake steps up like Homer Bailey did last night and keeps us close. Unfortunately, Leake has a career 5.26 ERA against the Nats. He is coming off of 2 quality starts in a row, so hopefully that will work in his favor.

Oddly enough, Dan Haren hasn't been good so far this year. If he goes more than 5 innings in his start, it'll be the first time all year. This guy was an all-star 3 times. And coincidentally, his career ERA against the Reds? 5.26, just like Leake's against Washington.

Go Reds.
