It's been a long day of wheeling, but not so much dealing. Here's where we stand so far:
- As much as the Fake Reds would love to, there's no way they can afford Shin-Soo Choo given their budget restraints. However, they look to be in the running in acquiring outfield help via the free agent market and through a trade with another team.
- Speaking of the budget restraints, there's been a lot of discussion to help alleviate some of that, but nothing substantial yet. We'll see some of these deals happen within the next few days, though, as some of the big name FAs fall.
- Everybody wants Bob Steve in any deal we try to make. Boo to that.
