  • Louisville got spanked by the Columbus Clippers 10-1. This game was just a whole big pile of yuck. Denis Phipps stroked a solo dongpiece in the 2nd inning, providing the only Bats run, and one of their three measly hits. Chad Reineke got hammered like jch on a Saturday night, allowing 8 runs on 6 hits in 3 innings, with 4 walks and 4 Ks. Up Next: Louisville continues to play out the string, hosting the Clippers at 7 pm ET. Tim Gustafson (4-5, 5.07 ERA) gets the start.

  • Bakersfield got 86'd by the 66'ers, falling 16-6. Jamie Walczak started, and allowed 8 runs on 9 hits in 3.1 innings. Abel de los Santos had a rude awakening after his callup from the Arizona League, allowing 3 runs in 0.1 IP in his first game above rookie ball. Just in case you were wondering, 3 runs in 0.1 IP works out to an even 81.00 ERA. On a positive note, Ryan Wright and Kurtis Muller honked a wanger apiece. Up Next: The Blaze take on the 66'ers at 10:15 pm ET. Starter TBD.

  • Billings also had a decisive victory, beating the Idaho Falls Chukars 12-3. Carlos Sanchez brought the thunder, going 4-5 with 4 doubles, 3 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Slippery Sal Romano gave up 3 in 5 innings, and the bullpen shut it down. Up Next: Jon Moscot opposes the Chukars at 9:15 pm ET.
  • The AZL Reds got blanked by the Royals 7-0. Jonathan Reynoso and Adam Matthews were the only Lil' Reds with multi-hit games, as they each notched a pair of singles in a game where the only 5 hits were singles. Up Next: The Reds take on the Brew Crew at 10 pm ET.
