Friday's game was a bit depressing and Saturday's game wasn't a heckuva lot better. Luckily, Bronson Arroyo, our #2 stopper takes the mound today against perennial enigma Edwin Jackson. Jackson flat out dominated the Reds earlier this season in Washington going a complete game, striking out nine, and giving up only one earned run. However, Jackson has yet to match this dominance over other teams, as his only win has been against the Reds.

What's different about the Reds since Jackson's last start against Cincinnati? Well, a number of things: Scott Rolen is injured, Willie Harris is gone, and, perhaps most importantly, MIKE COSTANZO! (Editor's note: FREE COSTANZO, WHY THE HECK NOT?) Clearly, the Reds must find a spot to put this kid in the lineup.

Whether you're celebrating commencement season, Mother's Day, or Harvey Keitel's birthday, let's hope the Reds can salvage some of this series and avoid a sweep from the Nationals.
