7pm, Great American Ballpark
Even if you don't know who to root for, you can rest easy knowing the Reds will get a win tonight. While it would be totally cool if "Reds vs. Futures" meant playing Joey Votto, 2017 - and finding out if the contract had not been a horrible mistake - this is pretty good too. The exhibition hearkens back to the spring barnstorming teams have done for over a century.
Mike Leake is on the mound for the Counselors, Daniel Corcino for the Campers. Leake will be followed by Homer. Both will get more than enough rest between tonight and their probable starts early next week. Still, it would set my heart at ease if everyone went full pads and used tees.
We'll have a good contingent of Red Reporters at tonight's game, so stay tuned to @redreporter for live-tweeting of the game by BK. For any of you attending, don't hesitate to call out your Twitter handle in the thread or comment from the Red Reporter mobile site.
Lineups, courtesy of Jamie Ramsey, after the jump. I'm going to guess the "Reds" lineup is basically the opening day lineup, removing Heisey (who's at DH). The biggest question is whether Mesoraco or Hanigan will start. Meso gets the nod tonight.
