This coming Tuesday the Reds will be trying something new to start the season. They're going to play the first Reds Futures game, which will pit up and coming Reds minor leaguers against our beloved boys in red. The tickets are deeply discounted as you'll see below, which makes it all the more enticing. Did I mention that the weather should be just about perfect (forecasted high of 65, which should put it in the upper 50s at game time)?
Other cool stuff about the game:
- Players will be mic'd up to the PA during batting practice
- The minor leaguers will be available for autographs and photos during Major League batting practice
- Unique camera angles of the game action on the video board
- Drawing for the opportunity to throw the ceremonial first pitch
- Free Hall of Fame and Museum admission to fans 12 and younger
